Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accounts Payable Team Lead -
Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Controller in closing monthly books and act as the
second in command
Ensure vendor invoices are accurate and complete, and perform
reconciliations of selected GL accounts
Manage timely vendor payments and communicate with vendors as
necessary
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
5+ years of general accounting experience with technical accounting
knowledge
Previous experience in Accounts Payable accounting is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Sage GL and
AP is preferred
Well-versed in IFRS and/or GAAP accounting principles
