Pharmacy Technician Job OverviewChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Newark, Delaware. As a Pharmacy Technician at ChristianaCare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care to patients, refilling patient medication bins, and delivering medications to nursing units. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing automated dispensing cabinet inventory, ensuring medications are stored properly, and receiving and checking incoming supplier orders.Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required unless enrolled in a PharmD program
• Applicants with Pharmacy Technician experience are encouraged to apply and will be required to obtain PTCB certification within 1 year of employment
