Pharmacy Technician Job DescriptionChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Newark, Delaware.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in providing timely and efficient pharmaceutical care to patients
• Refill patient medication bins through automated systems and manual processes
• Deliver and exchange medication carts to nursing units at scheduled times
• Manage automated dispensing cabinet inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
• Prepare IV medications using aseptic techniques and follow federal regulationsRequirements:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required
  • Applicants with pharmacy experience preferred
  • Computer experience preferred
