Job Description Requirements: RVT Registered Vascular Technologist Certification (ARDMS) Degree from an accredited ultrasound program Minimum 1 year experience as an RVT preferred Must be computer literate Experience with venous reflux studies and radiofrequency venous ablations is a plus Expected knowledge of Carotid Duplex, Arterial Dopplers and PVR/ABI, Venous Duplex for DVT. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Consistently performs technically adequate vascular testing procedures Completes all vascular-related patient history prior to testing Identifies and documents appropriate data/information during testing procedures Obtains and records optimal Doppler signals, measurements, & calculations Collaborate with office Providers, managers, and staff on scheduling, reporting, and relaying messages to appropriate staff in regards to patient care and concerns Clarifies and communicates information and testing specifics to the patient and/or family prior to testing Ensures completeness of required patient data prior to billing and interpretation Maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all patients Performing radiofrequency ablations using a sterile field and completing all required imaging, documentation, and reporting Adheres to all imaging guidelines and patient care protocols and procedures Maintains established department goals, objectives, policies, procedures, quality, and safety standards. Adequately enters/imports all patient and test information into EMR Demonstrates compliance with Universal Precautions when appropriate Responsible for preparation and submitting accreditation through IAC Keeping vascular room stocked with supplies and maintaining the cleanliness of the room; ie, wiping down walls, machines, etc Train new vascular technologists Performs other duties as assigned by managers Job Type: Full-time Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour Closed View public job page Company Description We serve our patients to make sure all their medical needs are met.
