Job Description Job Description We’re looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Compensation: $17 per hour Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls and questions about guests’ needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information Handle customer complaints as necessary Qualifications: Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems 1 year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills About Company Across from the University of Delaware, this all-suite hotel offers spacious 2-room suites, along with many free and modern amenities, including free WIFI, evening reception, and free parking.
