Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Physician Reviewer.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct peer reviews to evaluate clinical appropriateness of
coverage requests
Stay informed on the latest treatments, including cutting-edge
modalities
Provide objective, evidence-based insights to support review
outcomes
Qualifications:
Current/active Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal
Medicine, accredited by the ABMS or AOA
An unrestricted, unencumbered, and active medical license for
clinical practice
Minimum of 5 years of full-time equivalent hospitalist direct
patient care experience
Previous experience with utilization management or peer review
programs is highly preferred
Proficiency in navigating multiple computer applications
simultaneously
