TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics ER -
Emergency Room for a travel nursing job in Newark, Delaware.Job
Description & Requirements
Shift: 36 hours weekly - Days - 7am to 7:30pm
Addition: Every other weekend (weekend being considered Friday,
Saturday, Sunday) and Every other holiday
Dress Code: Navy scrubs
Location: Newark, DE
Description:
We are a blended Emergency/Inpatient unit that has 7 beds dedicated
to emergency patients and 7 beds dedicated to inpatients. We do not
accept ambulance transfers at this time but do have walk-ins and
transfers from our main ED on the Newark Campus.
We see a wide range of patient conditions here on our emergency
side and have a close relationship with Nemours Children's
Hospital, should we need to transfer anyone that requires a higher
level of care. Our inpatient side sees observation and lower acuity
inpatients. This includes asthmatics, bronchiolitis, high flow
nasal cannula support, hyperbilirubinemia, dehydration,
constipation, and febrile neonates to name a few.
We also have 3 rooms on our inpatient side that are dedicated to
patients in a behavioral health crisis while we work to find
placement for them.
Education and Experience Requirements:
BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of
date of hire
Two years of Acute Care RN experience strongly preferred
Pediatric, pediatric emergency, emergency department or critical
care experience preferred.
Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of
Delaware
BLS Certification required; ACLS & PALS preferred.
