ChristianaCare Nurse Residency Program OverviewWe are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nurse Residency Program, a comprehensive training program designed to support new graduate nurses in their transition to practice.The program is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs.Our Nurse Residency Program offers a structured and supportive environment, where you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, challenging environment.You will work alongside experienced nurses and receive guidance and support from our dedicated team of educators and preceptors.The program is designed to foster critical thinking, evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, effective communication, quality and safety, and professional development.Upon completion of the program, you will be well-prepared to take on the challenges of a Registered Nurse role in our medical and surgical units.Program Highlights:

• Continued residency meetings for professional developmentRequirements:
  • Graduating from an accredited registered nursing school (BSN preferred)
  • BLS required
  • Less than 12 months of nursing experience by the start of the program
  • Eligible for Delaware license as a Graduate Nurse/Registered Nurse or multi-state RN from a compact stateWhat We Offer:
