DESCRIPTION Seeking an experienced Lab Automation professional to join the eMolecules team in Newark, Delaware! The Lab Automation Research Associate role is responsible for sample order fulfillment for our clients. This is a hands-on role that requires a highly motivated and technically skilled professional with compound management expertise and respect within the industry, able to work in a high demand environment. Job Responsibilities:Perform duties in all areas of a complex high throughput compound management operation safely and with the highest level of qualityMay include receiving, weighing, dissolving, sampling, storing and plating compounds in a variety of solvents using both manual and automated techniques according to SOPs and best practicePerform data handling, inventory tracking, and accurate record keepingTroubleshooting of robotic equipment, performing scheduled precision and accuracy measurements of all Compound Management instruments and providing maintenance of all systemsDemonstrates proficiency with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to coordinate client's incoming orders with laboratory operations and database integrationsWrite instrument protocols and teach robots or program automation as neededCreate SOPs and ensure all instrument documentation is kept up to dateInteract with customers on technical and operational issues as requiredCommunicate clearly with management and colleagues at all levels and provide recommendations to support business needs.
