Job Description:
A company is looking for an OSP Engineer to perform detailed
outside plant facility engineering tasks remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Estimate, analyze, design, and plan outside plant facilities for
copper and fiber cables
Prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and reports,
including loop loss designs
Conduct periodic job inspections and ensure quality control of
engineering projects
Required Qualifications
Ability to identify existing voice/data plant and utilities on site
plans and in the field
Expert knowledge of COE/OSP principles and engineering work order
procedures
Experience with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) for
engineering requirements
Must possess own tools such as measuring wheels and laptops for
fieldwork
Knowledge of obtaining right of ways and easements as required
