Job Description Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract CVOR Technologist for a local contract job in Newark, Delaware. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Title: CVOR Surgical Tech Location: Newark, DE Shift: Days National Certification can be one of the following: - NCCT - AST - NBSTSA If the candidate has significant CVOR specialty experience, the salary can be negotiable. SCHEDULE: - Primarily Day Shift - 4x10-hour shifts per week - On-call obligation required MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - High school diploma or equivalent - Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires post-2009) - Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist - Must have Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: - Scrub responsibilities across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations - Ability to function independently within established protocols - Competence in unit tasks assigned by the RN - Sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and patient confidentiality - Proficient computer and keyboarding skills SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: - BCLS Certification - Certification by an approved body (e.g., NBSTSA - CST, or NCCT - TS-C) “We are an equal opportunity employer.
